Roofing in Charlotte with Covid-19

To our valued customers,

March 17, 2020

We hope this letter finds you, your families and your colleagues healthy and safe.

Over the past few weeks, we have been closely monitoring and evaluating the situation around COVID-19 (coronavirus) and taking the necessary business precautions to protect the health and safety of our employees, customers, and their families. This includes continued communication with our employees about the spread of COVID-19, the CDC’s latest recommendations, and Charlotte Pro Roofing’s proactive response to this quickly changing situation.

Charlotte Pro Roofing has a history of adaptation and crisis preparedness and we are leaning on that foundation while we proactively monitor the potential national impact of the coronavirus. We are alert to the situation and believe we are prepared.

Charlotte Pro Roofings infrastructure includes the capability for some of our employees to work remotely for extended periods, as needed, through our implementation of virtual meeting and document collaboration technology. Some of our employees have utilized these capabilities to work remotely in the past, and it may expand to become a part of our normal workflow.

In the time of the COVID-19, we are still going to assist the residents of Charlotte with a free roof inspection, while practicing safety precautions. When meeting with a roofing client, we are going to practice social distancing. We are going to have a minimum distance of 3 ft between ourselves and the customer. All vehicles are preloaded with alcohol wipes and hand sanitizers. After completing the roof inspection, we wipe off our devices and sanitize our hands.

Compliance is another Charlotte Pro Roofing core value and we believe our technology has appropriate backups and security measures in place.

In recent weeks, we have also put in place a number of employee policies and recommendations to help protect the safety of our employees, customers, vendors, and their families. Further, we have rescheduled or postponed all large employee and customer gatherings based on the recommendations of the CDC.

As you likely already know, Charlotte Pro Roofing boasts an award-winning Zero Incident Safety Culture with a motto of, “If it’s not safe, don’t do it.” Safety is considered a top priority at Charlotte Pro Roofing, and we believe the steps we have taken are necessary to protect the health and safety of Charlotte Pro Roofing employees, customers, and their families.

Charlotte Pro Roofing has had teams of employees from our Executive offices, Human Resources, Environmental Health & Safety, Legal, and Crisis Communications teams focused on monitoring and preparing for what we foresee to be COVID-19 related potential impacts. While the full impact of the coronavirus remains to be seen, these efforts should position us well as we look ahead during these times of uncertainty.

We will continue to provide updates to you, as needed, in the coming days and weeks. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thank you again for your support.

Best Regards,

The Charlotte Pro Roofing Team
